HYPERSELF is a living journal about
refactoring the second half of life.

I became a father for the first time
after turning fifty.

Since then, work, family, aging, money,
and the meaning of my remaining time
stopped feeling like abstract topics.

They became my life.

Who this is for

People who feel disappointed with work,
but cannot simply walk away tomorrow.

People who feel anxious about retirement,
not only because of money,
but because of the question: “Is this how I grow old?”

People who love their family,
and therefore started caring more seriously
about how they spend their time.

People who are no longer young,
but are not done yet.

What I write about

Career theories. Psychology. Work. Fatherhood.
Aging. Anxiety. Meaning-making.

But this is not meant to be an academic blog.

For me, theories are tools.
Tools for making life a little more honest,
a little more intentional,
and maybe a little more alive.

About SUBEHITO

I work as a manager at a call center.
I am in my fifties.
In 2025, I became a father for the first time.

I drifted through my twenties,
worked in securities in my thirties,
and later moved into a completely different industry.

I have worked hard.
But I have also compromised, swallowed words,
and told myself, “Well, I guess this is just my life.”

Then my son was born.

What kind of back will I show him?

That question is where HYPERSELF begins.
